Jambalaya is a recipe typical of the southern United States. You can add something to the basic recipe of how to make this fish pizza. You can add the retreat, chicken pieces, and filled it with sausage. You can decide what you want to add to this cooking!
The popular cuisine in the southeastern part of Louisiana, America is tasty and simple. A fusion of Spanish cuisine and France, I think this is very similar to the same Mexican Rice, only more seasoned. Specifically from this shared jambalaya cajun seasoning, still felt Mexican rice still tasty!
The following recipe makes JAMBALAYA:
- 1/3 fruit of the onion (diced)
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 piece red bell pepper (I skip)
- 3 pieces of red chilli
- 2 pieces of sausage (I used vegetable sausage)
- 3 tbsp sweet corn
- shrimp (clean)
- 1 tomato (cut into 8)
- salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tbsp cajun powder
- 1 cup rice
- chicken bouillon (as much to cook the rice)
- parsley/chives (for sprinkling)
Saute onion, garlic and chilies until fragrant, place corn, sausage, and shrimp. Cook until shrimp changes color. Input all the spices and tomato paste. Mix well.
Input the rice and water or broth (I use homemade chicken broth, can use water + bouillon blok). Mix well. At this stage could move to the rice cooker if you want
Cover and cook till the rice becomes rice.
Ready to be served with a sprinkling of parsley/chives
